Corporate Services Clerk
Watson Goepel LLP is a growing and dynamic multi-service law firm based in downtown Vancouver with an additional office located in West Vancouver. We offer a professional, collegial, and collaborative work environment, competitive salary, and rewarding opportunities.
We are currently seeking a Corporate Services Clerk to join our Corporate Services Department in our Vancouver office. This position reports to the Corporate Services Supervisor.
Ideal Candidate:
- Self-starter who is able to work independently and as a member of the team
- Able to multitask with great attention to detail
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Highly organized
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Enjoys the challenge of learning new tasks
Role and Responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly billing for corporate services department, including annual maintenance billing
- Preparing reports for annual maintenance and reviewing returned annual reports
- Preparing and sending reminders to clients
- Handling all incoming mail for corporate records department
- Drafting routine correspondence
- Performing conflict searches
- Conducting BC Online searches
- Filing annual maintenance
- Updating ALF database
- Other tasks as required
- Assisting with overflow work
Ideal Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant or Administrative Assistant program
- Experience working in a law firm or office environment an asset
- Interest in corporate law
- Previous corporate experience an asset
- Able to organize and prioritize workload
- Solid proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Ability to use critical thinking while problem solving
- Comfortable using step stools/small ladders and lifting 10 lbs.
- Team player
- Always presents a professional image and acts as a firm ambassador

Salary:
$50,000 – 63,000 annually
Hours:
Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (35 hours per week)
