Craig Neville, family law mediator, arbitrator, parenting co-ordinator and the Chair of Watson Goepel LLP’s Family Law Group recently provided his take on the new family law legislation coming into force on March 18, 2013 in the most recent issue of BarTalk. The new legislation marks the first major set of developments in family law legislation in British Columbia since the introduction of the Family Relations Act. Not surprisingly, the full issue was devoted to a discussion of the impending changes and what family law lawyers and their clients can expect to see in terms of developments in the way family law matters are handled.
