Matthew joined Watson Goepel in 2017 and practices primarily in the area of personal injury.
Matthew grew up in Southern California and graduated from Allegheny College in the United States with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2010. In 2011, he began his studies at the University of British Columbia where he received a Juris Doctor and Master of Arts in Asia Pacific Policy Studies in 2014. Matthew then worked at a Vancouver-based think tank as a research fellow before beginning his articles. He has assisted clients with personal injury claims and other disputes, wills, family law matters, and commercial agreements. Matthew has appeared as counsel in various matters, including trials, before the Provincial Court of British Columbia, the BC Human Rights Tribunal, and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Matthew’s interests include traveling and writing fiction.
