Britni grew up in the lower mainland but headed east to attend university. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, as a double major in Political Science and World Religions in 2006 from McGill University. Britni then attended the Faculty of Law at Queens University studying mainly in the areas of Personal Injury, Religious Law and International Law. Britni obtained her JD in 2009 and moved to Whistler, British Columbia where she completed her articles and practiced with Race & Company LLP from 2009-2014, mostly in the areas of personal injury and insurance defense.
Britni joined Watson Goepel LLP in 2014 and now practices exclusively in the area of personal injury. She utilize the knowledge and experience she gained working as defense counsel, to advocate for injured people and assist them in obtaining fair compensation. Britni is committed to assisting her clients throughout the litigation process to conclusion whether this is achieved by way of settlement negotiations, mediations or trial.
Britni has appeared as both plaintiff’s counsel and defense counsel for a variety of matters, including numerous trials, at the Provincial Court of British Columbia and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Britni resides in Squamish, B.C., and when she isn’t working she enjoys biking, hiking, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing. She is active in the Sea to Sky community and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Whistler Community Services Society. Britni is also active in the legal community and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
